Bill presents an original design inspired by his sleepless nights and influenced by RedSnapper's design from phenoptix. The proposed design is a 3D-rendered one with minimal external hardware requirements, designed mainly for snapping 0.1 inch (2.54mm) pitch headers, scalable to other common sizes. All moving parts are set with a 0.6mm clearance distance that the designer has found suitable for his printer's performance. After printing and testing, some issues were encountered, such as small holes not being printed correctly and brittle features. The creator invites suggestions and hopes the design will be useful to others, including himself if he gets more free time to work on it.
