Another Parametric Spool

This text is about creating a custom spool for a specific purpose but has been designed in a parametric manner to allow for adjustments. The project was deemed simple and similar to another design by "caru." Future plans include adding a dome top with LEDs and a cover for the solenoid. Access to a 3D printer, specifically a Replicator 2, is currently unavailable due to technical issues but under warranty. A boss's approval is being sought for acquiring one in the workplace. The spool design would be used to demonstrate wave energy via a bobber and generate enough voltage to power an LED, which has been challenging so far due to coil specifications. A zener diode and capacitor have been utilized but the speed remains insufficient. The spool is adjustable as a backup plan if other methods fail. Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
