Another Lab plate vortex/shaker from a 140 mm fan
thingiverse
Remix created from WaveSupportAparatus' design on Thingiverse. Changes from original: 1. Spring mount redesigned with a draft to facilitate spring insertion and an indentation for secure fixing. 2. Spring mount features a M3 compatible hole for attaching the fan, and the base includes a pin for easy mounting - glue can be used for added security. 3. Base boasts a pin for securing the spring mount and incorporates a space for inserting 14x9x12mm rubber feet using an M3 screw. 4. Base provides support for both the 12v connector and potentiometer. 5. A central compartment in the base holds a ballast, such as lead - a 3D model is available for creating a cover. 6. The table features a snug fit with 5 1/4", 96-well plates, eliminating the need for an adhesive surface. 7. The table's design includes higher walls to accommodate additional items while maintaining minimal weight. Electronics: 1. 140mm fan 2. 12v connector (12mm diameter mounting) 3. 470 ohms potentiometer (10mm diameter mounting) Refer to WaveSupportAparatus' original model on Thingiverse for further technical details.
