Another Hinged Box

I needed to create a laser-cut box with a hinge, but I couldn't find a design that was both functional and unobtrusive yet, so I came up with this solution. A hole in the lower side lines up perfectly with a hole in the inner locating liner of the upper side, and they're connected by a short piece of dowel rod. Case designed by makercase.com, modified using Corel Draw X6. Prototype made from 3mm MDF, with 3mm dowel hinge pins.
