Another Ender 3 Filament Guide

Another Ender 3 Filament Guide

Here is my take on a filament guide for the Ender 3. After seeing the design by Filboyt and using it, I designed my own version with significant improvements. The idler wheels prevent the filament from chewing through the guide, and the arm features holes for bolts to pass through, ensuring a rock-solid securement. This part pairs perfectly with a "sacrificial" filament guide (link below) on the extruder, yielding fantastic results without any binding or tearing of my extruder. Some minor assembly is required after printing using an M5 bolt, four M5 nuts, and four washers. Refer to the picture for detailed instructions. In theory, you can 3D print these parts if needed. You also need to remove the two bolts holding on the top extrusion on the left side to insert the arm. To achieve optimal results, print in the orientation of the file with supports enabled on the arm. The 'T' slot is not flush with the top, so you'll definitely need them. I recommend printing the parts separately with 100% infill on the idler wheel due to its small size and 25% infill on the arm. I'm currently working on a version featuring a bearing, but it's not entirely necessary as the friction is minimal. Please share your prints and provide me with feedback! Happy Printing!
