Another Cable Chain | Easy to print | 20x15mm
thingiverse
Yet another cable chain :D. I wanted to manage my wires of my heavy modified CR-10 Mini (but still haven´t), so I made an easy to print chain segment that can even stacked to print a whole segment of a chain if you put them 20mm appart each other It should primarilry be used to manage the X axis, but can be used for any other axis too. After a couple of designs, I think that would be the most compromised one in terms of ease of use. Its a closed chain segment, so you maybe have to dissamble your connectors, but for the most cables you can put them right through. The chamber measures 11,5mm x 8MM at the lowest and 13mm at the top of the roof. It is optimised for 0,2mm layerheight and 0,4mm line width, but I think any other setting may work as well. All the overhangs are over an 40° angle, so you don´t need any kind of support. At 100% infill it only needs about 2,5g of material. I still need to design the ends to fit it to the extrusion beam, so please be kind to me if it takes some time :). Maybe I will design another for the 40mm wide extrusion beam in the Future.
