Another Beat Saber Handle Grip
thingiverse
I was inspired by the curved pistol grip created by MikeTitor (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4660634) however I wanted a straight Beat Saber handle so I went back to the drawing board to create this from scratch. So less of a remix and more of an inspired recreation. It is short enough and slim enough to leave on permanently so you can play other games. These Beat Saber controller grips give a much wider range of motion compared to the controllers themselves. I added a textured tennis grip and I don't need much effort for these Beat Saber grips to stay firmly in my hands, so I did not allow a hole for the hand strap. I did upload a couple of other designs with air holes and ridges, in case you don't want to go down the tennis grip route. Since the top part where you will add the velcro (I used zip ties) is thin and will be under pressure (especially if you use zip ties for a secure fit), I'd suggest using your slicer to customise the infill in that area to 100%. The rest of the handle can have a lower infill. I think mine were printed with 2 walls with 0.4mm nozzle and 15 - 20% infill - made for a very sturdy hand grip. You're getting 4 versions here; Ribbed, 1 for velcro, 1 for zip ties Non-ribbed, 1 for velcro, 1 for zip ties The zip tie version has a smaller hole for increased strength. You will need to adjust the alignment of your Beat Saber handles in the game. I use these settings; Position X: 0.8cm Position Y: 0.4cm Position Z: -4.2cm Rotation X: -6.0 Rotation Y: 0.0 Rotation Z: 0.0 Free for personal use. No commercial uses.
