Another ATX Bench Power Supply w Cord Storage
thingiverse
I've built another one of these projects and I'm really pleased with how it turned out, so I decided to create another one with an even smaller footprint and added two negative posts. To save space, the cables were moved from the front of the power supply to the back and tucked into a pocket beneath the handle. You'll need to either drill a hole in the top cover of the power supply or remove it completely to re-route the wires. If you leave the top cover off, you'll need to glue it together otherwise it should stay in place with pressure. The handle connects to the center piece using a dove tail joint. This project was printed in ABS, but PLA is recommended as it prints more smoothly and requires less post-processing. I had some issues getting everything together due to slight warping of the parts. No supports were needed for this print, but the grill and cable wrap need to be printed with high infill or a sturdy material to withstand the stresses of use. The top of the opening for the power supply comes very close to the curve in the case, so if it's printed at low resolutions, it may not fit together properly. Check your slices carefully to ensure everything will connect correctly.
