Another 30 series profile mounted spool holder with bearings

<p>Needed something better then what I had, because the cardboard spools were wearing grooves in it</p><p>**Spool holder uses bearings, bolts, and nuts:</p><p> 608Z bearings (8 x 22 x 7mm)</p><p> M8 x 100mm hex head bolt and a M8 lock nut</p><p> M6 x 16mm cap head bolt and a t-nut</p><p> </p><p>**I used supports on the Nut/Bolt covers….I printed those hex down on build table and used the Paint Support tool in to put a small dot in the center of the Hex…Then selected the “For support enforcers only” and sliced the model</p><p> </p><p><strong>Pictures are in order of assembly</strong>** <strong>but you need to click on the photo to open up the viewer to see the whole picture</strong></p><p> Push a bearing into the end of the part named ‘roll rrr’… use a flat surface to help press the bearing to flush with end of part</p><p> Insert part named ‘roll rrr insert’ into the other end of the part ‘roll rrr’ followed by the 2nd bearing pressing it in until flush with the other end</p><p>Place roller assembly into the part named ‘30series vminion roller spool holder’</p><p>insert the hex head bolt into spool holder, through the roller assembly and tighten the bolt into the lock nut***don't over tighten***</p><p>I also added some different types of bolt/nut head covers</p><p>Use M6 x 16mm cap head bolt and t-nut to attach to the 30 series profile</p><p> </p><p>****Tabletop spool holder</p><p>I also added a part called ‘roll rrr sides’…..if you desire to use a tabletop spool holder, print 2 ‘roll rrr sides’, 2 roller assemblies, and 4 nut covers</p><p> </p><p>***Cardboard spool insert for Polymaker 1Kg spools</p><p>I made sure that another model of mine would fit on this spool holder</p><p><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/249437-polymaker-1kg-cardboard-spool-insert">https://www.printables.com/model/249437-polymaker-1kg-cardboard-spool-insert</a></p><p> </p><p>**** I uploaded the Fusion360 and .3mf files</p><p>I made a unit out of PLA on the V-Minion and a unit out of ASA on my MK3s+</p><p>They both had great fits, although the ASA was a little snug with the bearing fit</p>
