Anno 1800 Board Game upgrade pieces

The game Anno 1800 by Kosmos has a lot of cubes and cardboard pieces. This entry will give new models for replacing the cardboard along with links to some other designed pieces I used in my copy. All my designs used tinkercad for manipulation. First are the pieces I used to replace cardboard:Trade Token (print 77; color change: Brown, White, Brown, Tan)This is a 1cm cube with the trade symbol on the top. In a couple different designs, I decided to replicate the cardboard as much as possible: dark brown crate, white border, dark brown “cloud,” and tan trade arrows.I used the trade arrows from mnemic and the crate from Robagon3D to make this trade token.https://www.printables.com/model/12102-wooden-crate-for-gloomhaven andhttps://www.printables.com/model/71541-anno-1800-board-game-token-upgrades-resources-and- Exploration Token (print 53; color change: Black, Silver)I started with a star and using the “swords” from a different print, I combined to make the exploration token. I rounded the star to make it a little more like the symbol, cutting off the bottom two “legs” to make it stand and reference the cardboard more closely. The silver of the swords is another M600 change.Gold Tokens (print 26 1's, 20 3's, Color change: Gold, Silver)One thing I didn't like with the cardboard chits was that there were gold 1's and gold 5's. I'm sure cardboard layout constraints made this decision, but I was annoyed because the end-of-game scoring for gold is in sets of 3, not 5. So I modified the gold to be a set of 3 bars and printed the same total (60 in >1 denomination; cardboard = 12*5's and in print it is 20*3's). The individual bars in the 3 are smaller than the 1's, but align nicely with the single bars being as long as the 3's to make them feel similar. However the size difference and the large M600 silver 3 across the multiple bars makes for an easy differentiation and easier to score at the end. I used the gold tiles from mnemic (see below for the great tokens) as a starting point for my gold - the 1's were simply resized, but the 3s had the “1800” removed, were resized, overlapped, and then the large “3” was overlayed to allow for multicolor printing.https://www.printables.com/model/71541-anno-1800-board-game-token-upgrades-resources-and- Storage Crates(Print 5 - one for each color storage and display during play)I modeled and printed some storage crates to hold the color cubes/replacements. These are slightly larger than the board, but they fit very well and fit just about perfectly in the box bottom. The lids fit with friction. They can fit vertically or horizontally in the box. NON-INCLUDED MODELSColored worker cubes(various counts for the different colors; see the listing below)I used these files from mnemic as a replacement for the cubes. Great tokens! https://www.printables.com/model/71541-anno-1800-board-game-token-upgrades-resources-and- Tile Tray Organizer (and storage)I used this model by thingiverse user Algathrac as an organizer for the tiles to aid in setup and storage. Use of 6mm (diameter) magnets makes them snap together when stacked, but there is no magnet for the lid (which is very nice and would hold if stored horizontally. As I store mine vertically, I use some Hugo's tape to keep closed.).https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4640089 First Player Marker (Napoleon bust)I found a bust that has the bicorn hat like the first player token does. While not specific to this game, it's a good first-player marker. Printed in marble.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1737547 End-Game indicator (fireworks)Did you know that there aren't really any fireworks STLs on Printables/Thingiverse? Yeah, me neither. Until I looked for one for this game as the token for the end of the game. I found this “star explosion” marker that I used instead. It seemed thematic enough and I used color changes to have a silver base, red lower portion, white middle, and blue finial star. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1817618
