Annihilator ANH-GZ - Gausszilla for Battletech

Let me weave you a tale, one that drifts through the cosmos, whispered like a secret among those who dance in the steel colossi of war. This is the saga of a beast, not born of Earth, but inspired by its ancient lore, a creature of metal and might that stalks the battlefields of the future. They call it the Gausszilla, a nod to the old Terran monster movies, where colossal beasts ruled the screen and captured the imaginations of many. This mechanical titan, armed to the brim with the fury of lostech, was the Draconis Combine's homage to that legendary creature of chaos, Godzilla. In the shadowy halls of power and innovation, where the past whispers to the future, the Gausszilla was forged for a legend among mechwarriors, Katashi "The Hawk" Tanaka. Not just any pilot, but one whose name was etched in the stars for his unrivaled skill and cunning. Tanaka was no mere soldier; he was a master of the battlefield, weaving through his enemies with the grace of a specter and the precision of a blade. The architects of the Gausszilla delved deep into the vaults of forgotten science to arm this behemoth, inspired by the tales of Godzilla's unstoppable might. They equipped it with an arsenal that would rival the monster's own fury: five Clan-spec Gauss Rifles, capable of leveling buildings and piercing the heart of any foe from leagues away. Like the monster it was named after, the Gausszilla was a force of nature, a harbinger of destruction that could change the course of battles with a single volley. The legend of its debut is a tale of shadows and snow. On a world where the cold bit deep and the blizzard blinded all, Tanaka piloted the Gausszilla like a phantom, unseen, unheard, until it was far too late for his foes. With each pull of the trigger, enemies fell, not knowing what hit them, as if struck down by the vengeful spirit of Godzilla itself. It was a massacre, a statement of power so profound that it echoed through the ranks of friend and foe alike. Yet, despite its awe-inspiring might, the Gausszilla remained a ghost story, a myth. Its creation was a feat that could not easily be replicated, its secrets guarded jealously by the Combine. The cost of its power, both in resources and knowledge, ensured that it would walk the battlefields alone, a singular titan among the stars. So, when the fires of campfires flicker low and the stars gaze down upon us, remember the tale of the Gausszilla. Inspired by the legends of Earth's past, it serves as a reminder of the fearsome power of human creativity and warfare. Like the monster movies of old, the story of Katashi Tanaka and his mechanical beast stirs the soul, a haunting melody of might and mystery that whispers through the darkness, telling of a creature born of steel and shadow, forever stalking the annals of myth and legend. ===NOTE!=== Infinite Frontiers has began playtesting! If you'd like to help test a new tabletop game that seamlessly transforms from Tabletop Wargame to Tabletop Roleplaying Game to Tabletop Solo/Co-Op Adventure Game, check out the discord! https://discord.gg/3akKEnChH6 https://www.infinitefrontiers.games ========== I'm just a humble doodler that occasionally makes cool stuff, and makes other cool stuff look just a little bit better. These Battletech models are based heavily on the Mechwarrior Online mechs. However, the vast majority of ripped files from MWO are not optimal for printing, and while many other modelers are content with stitching these files together to make something workable, I decided to take it a step further. Instead of just giving you a re-hashed MWO file, I created an entirely new model that is optimized for printing at Battletech Scale. Parts are thicker, manifolds are closed, and there is only a single shell. These mechs that I'm posting have been tested thoroughly, but there may be some minor issues. On the flip side, if you like a little bit of adventure, the beta files are available for free to the public on my Patreon.
