Annabelle Smoothie - bookend
pinshape
Whenever Annabelle finds herself with some spare time, she can't resist slipping away to get lost in her current favorite book. It makes for a fantastic bookend when filled with sand (holds around 500 grams) or printed at a smaller size to keep an eye on your belongings from your shelf. The design prints perfectly without any supports, but adding small supports in key areas can help your printer handle shallow overhangs (like the bottom edge of a book). To fill this model with sand, print it with 0% infill and a wall thickness of at least three lines. Next, drill through one or both of the openings on the underside, fill it up, and then glue in the caps to seal the ports. The model shown here was printed on an Ender3 using PLA filament with a layer height of 0.15mm.
