Ankle board

This DIY ankle board doubles as a balance and wobble board, promoting rehabilitation for ankle injuries, enhancing agility, core strength, athletic coordination, ankle range of motion, and Jedi-like skills. Designed by Michigan Tech's Open Sustainability Technology Research Group, the open-source lab library component can be customized in size using OpenSCAD. Print the STL with desired infill on your preferred open-source 3D printer. Cut a plywood circle using a jigsaw and nail technique, drill a hole, and bolt the printed hemisphere to the board for adjustable difficulty levels. The ankle board improves proprioception, reducing injury risk. Exercises include rotating the board while sitting or standing, balancing on one foot, performing knee bends, arm rotations, ball tosses, and even closing eyes for added challenge.
