Anki Vector is an Alexa-enabled smart AI robot that's pushing innovation to new limits with its cutting-edge technology. New wheel designs are being unveiled for Anki Vector, and five distinct models will soon be available. Open center wheels take center stage in Design 1 - Spoke type, while directional sawblade-type wheels make a statement in Design 2. The latter includes four STL files: wheel_back2R.stl, wheel_back2L.stl, wheel_front2R.stl, and wheel_front2L.stl. Closed Center designs are also being introduced, with Design 3 showcasing spoked wheels featuring more spokes than before. The files back_wheel_v2.stl and front_wheel_v2.stl make up this design. Design 4 takes a different approach with less spokes in its spoked wheels, represented by the files back_wheel_v2b.stl and front_Wheel_v2b.stl. Finally, Design 5 features circle cutout wheels in back_wheel_v2c.stl and front_wheel_v2c.stl. When printing these designs in PLA, users may encounter issues such as tabs breaking off, making it challenging to remove the printed parts. To avoid this problem, it's highly recommended to print in ABS or PETG instead. With continuous improvements in print profiles for PETG, achieving successful prints is becoming increasingly feasible.
