Anki Vector Wheels v2
thingiverse
This is a completely revised version of my previous Anki Vector wheel design. This updated version has improved fit, strengthened clips, and includes two designs (for now). The first design is made to be similar to the original wheel design, while the second is a spoke-like design that offers an alternative look. For those interested in the latest revisions and versions specifically designed for Resin Printing, please visit designsbydauler.etsy.com. These replacements are made to fit snugly into the outer portion of Anki Vector's wheels, replacing the original outer wheel with ease. The new design snaps right in place, eliminating any hassle or frustration. The clips in the first design have been reworked to provide greater strength and durability, especially when printed in PLA. After testing multiple installation and removals, it has proven to work much better than before. For those who prefer the original based design, you can easily achieve "directional" wheels by mirroring your print. However, please note that the original vector wheels are not mirrored. To ensure optimal results, please pay close attention to the print settings. A minimum of .12 layer height is recommended to guarantee the strength of wheel clips. While some may be tempted to use a higher layer height like .2, it does not seem to work well in this case.
