Anki Rails and Clip/Cardboard Clip
thingiverse
This redesigned clip clings firmly to the Anki track, boasting an expansive opening for effortless guide rail installation. The revised design now positions the rails farther back, providing ample space for vehicles to navigate over the clip with ease. To achieve this, the rails have been extended, reducing the gap between them and allowing for a more stable ride. To assemble the track, print three straight or outer rails per side, accompanied by one inner rail per track. A mere two clips per rail suffice when utilizing the tightened clip hold. However, I've found it beneficial to use four clips per three rails due to the longer rails and tighter clip grip, enabling the internal clips to securely fasten the edges of two rails. As a bonus, this redesigned clip exhibits an impressive ability to grasp cardboard with tenacity, making it an ideal component for homemade cardboard tracks or other creative projects. The clip and rails can even stand independently as a fence or decorative feature without requiring attachment to any surface. I produced this design using my Flashforge Creator Pro 3D printer, setting the layer height to .3mm (fast) mode. By printing the clip on its side, supports are unnecessary. A 25% infill density was used, and I discovered that it significantly enhances the clip's grip strength. Edit: The clip has been revised to incorporate a rounded top for increased durability and stability.
