Anki Overdrive Elevation
thingiverse
My son ripped open his ANKI Overdrive starter Kit on Christmas and right away we both knew he needed some serious elevations for those high-speed curves. So I grabbed my trusty Openscad software, hopped onto my 3D printer, and started generating the solution. A quick spin through my toolkit and I grabbed a skewer to add support to the width of the track, not to mention creating a riser that does double duty for both curving and elevated tracks - and with ANKI expansion packs usually yielding four items, you're already going to need more than those basic four. The key is to have fun. **Print Settings** * Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X * Rafts: Doesn't matter at this stage. * Supports: Similarly, not required right now. * Resolution: Keep it crisp with .2 layers on. * Infill: I aimed for 20% to strike a perfect balance between weight and detail. **Notes:**
