V2 is for materials that can't be press fitted over the retaining ring without cracking (PLA, SLS printing, PETG etc), you will need to dremel back the retaining ring to match the flat spots on the spur gearV3 is for Nylon, high density TPU (95A+) etc and will need to be press fitted with a vice but doesn't require modifying the spur gearShort variants are slightly shorter than the spur gear, makes for an easier press fit and for machines with poorer tolerances, I recommend using short if you're printing it using SLS due to the extra size added by the adhesive compoundMay also work with the M5 (someone confirm?). I made this because some of my teeth got sheared off and I didn't wanna wait for the RMA unit to arrive. Don't use this directly against the metal gear rotor, instead swap in the secondary gear and use this as a secondary. The OEM gear is injection moulded to the metal filament spur, I used a dremel and a soldering iron to get it off.NOTE: You will have to fully disassemble your printer head to swap out the gears, don't open your motor it opens from the back.
