Anker Soundcore Strike 3 Headphones Arm
thingiverse
The Anker Soundcore Strike 3 headphones were great, however they chose the wrong type of plastic to make the thin part of the arms with so that over time, with daily normal use, fractures begin to form perpendicular to the outer edges. These fractures will eventually creep through the material leading to catastrophic failure of the thin section of the arm. Anker was good about their warranty and sent me replacement sets, but the first one also broke within 3 months and the second set, a return from Amazon, had a broken arm when I received it. This arm will work as a replacement for either side, it will just need to be mirrored to be used for the left. I printed this on a SLA printer, a Formlabs Form 3 using the durable resin. I don't think that these will work if printed via FDM as the thin section that is in question would just break again. I will also state that these aren't a perfect replica of the existing arms. I'm not a freeform model designer by trade. They are functional and work as intended, but they're not perfect.
