Anker charger stand
thingiverse
My brother-in-law owns an older RAV4 and recently purchased an Anker wireless car charger from Amazon, which can be found at https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerWave-Certified-Compatible-Qi-Enabled/dp/B07D9FYBMJ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1549458556&sr=8-3&keywords=anker+wireless+charger+car. He's thrilled with its performance, but unfortunately, it only comes with a vent mount. This prompted me to design a quick little mount that would fit snugly in the corner of the dashboard and secure the 17mm ball. I'm confident this will work for most items of similar size, such as chargers and other accessories, although it hasn't been thoroughly tested yet. To ensure durability in harsh environments like those found in my 1-ton truck, I used ASA plastic, which provides excellent resistance to high heat and sun bleaching commonly associated with dashboard exposure. I'm uploading two additional STL files for this project. The first is identical in height but features added perimeter supports for increased rigidity, along with an M3 or #4 hole through the center. By inserting a screw from below, you can significantly boost the mount's durability in extreme conditions. The second file represents a shorter version of the mount, designed for mounting horizontally off the dashboard or elsewhere. This design includes holes in the base for securing screws and a central hole for added sturdiness. Happy motoring!
