Setting up camps made of wood, leathers and bones they live a peaceful life in tune with the land around them. They mainly forage for food in the nearby forests. They also keep pack animals to help transport their camps when they are migrating to a new location. When these pack animals pass away they utilise their remains to create their tents and weapons and believe their spirits will follow them on their great migration. While not aggressive in nature, they will defend their camps using defensive tactics. All Ankanlos are trained both as a warrior and tradesman. This ensures that even when the warriors are away scouting for new locations and trails the Ankanlos at camp can defend themselves with ease.
