Update 26/1/2020: As requested, two alternative feet have been uploaded - one as high-heel feet and one trimmed down to standard BJD size. Since I am still working on my Master's degree and do not have access to printers nearby, I have yet to test print these files. Please let me know if anything goes seriously wrong. Update 31/10/2019: To meet many people's requests, a new upper body part has been uploaded featuring larger breasts. This version would work better with the thinner body. Unfortunately, without access to my printer at this time, I have not had the chance to test print this part yet. If anything goes wrong with the file, please let me know. This 18-point articulate BJD is ready for FDM printers and features broad range movements that allow her to easily handle hard poses such as sitting in meditation and squatting. Other than oversized feet, which make her stand firm, she is compatible with most 1/3 scale BJD's wig, clothes, and accessories. There are two versions of this doll available - one contains 18 points of articulation but has a slightly ugly thigh due to joints under the hips, which can be floppy. Therefore, an alternative version featuring 16 points of articulation but with better appearance has been uploaded. This version would also allow the doll to sit down more naturally. Additionally, two torso versions are available: one is thinner than the regular one and might be handy for some tight fit clothes. This project can be very challenging both in printing and post-print process, so be prepared to face issues and challenges. Many parts have only a minimal adhesive surface and are tall, requiring a perfect first layer and firm bed adhesion. To test your printer, the hands are a good starting point since they are small and pretty much covered all hard things. It is highly recommended that you have a 1kg full roll of material (ideally in skin color) ready before starting the project. Some parts also require high precision, so it's a good idea to calibrate your print to the best status if you're not very confident. This doll uses 22mm eyes which are not included (I don't like the 3D printed eye, as they can be difficult to make look right), but you can easily find suitable ones online since they are standard size for Dollfie Dream series. Like all other BJDs, you will need an elastic cord (3-4mm) to link parts together. For this project, it is recommended that you prepare a 2.5-meter long cord - 1.8-2 meters for the body and 0.3-0.5 meters for the arms depending on your preferences. Hands and feet can be connected without an S-hook, but I highly recommend making some S-hooks, especially for the hands. This will enable you to take her hands and feet down without redoing the strings all over again, which can be very handy for some clothes. This design was started with one of my game character sculpt practice. I used Z-brush Boolean tool to create joints. The files you have seen are the fifth version - I may make some more improvements if needed.
