Animatronic Skull

Animatronic Skull

I've been working on a servo driven animatronic skull. It demands 4 standard servos and 5 micro servos, specifically the 9g HXT900 model. For an authentic appearance, the jaw opening servo should operate at high speed. This skull features several innovative functions: The jaw is designed to swing forward slightly when opening for a more natural look. The jaw can rotate left and right as well as open and close. Eye motion is linked, requiring only two servos. The neck has a full range of motion. Individual eyelids can blink independently. Assembling this skull requires some hardware components. Ball links for the neck are available at hobbyking.com/en_us/ball-and-roller-link-4-8x3x17mm-10pcs-bag.html. Additional suggestions include: The Lynxmotion Ssc-32u servo controller is highly recommended. Visual Show Automation (VSA) animatronic software can be used for advanced control.
