I created this prop to soothe my daughter after learning about the fate of Mad Eye Moody in the Harry Potter movie series. It's a super quick and simple model to build, but I took mine a step further. I added a small Arduino control board (Arduino Pro Mini 328) and tiny servo motor. The eye is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery. To add a glow to the pupil, I included a small light that shines when turned on. The eye moves randomly in all directions, making it fun to build, finish, and wear around. To make the eye's pupil, I went to my local hobby store, where I was surprised to find doll eyes for sale. I found a blue set and inserted them into the model. I have many spare pupils stored away in my workshop, so this was the first time I've ever mentioned it. For the rest of the prop, it was just a matter of spraying paint and rubbing it in with a buffer. You'll need to add two small aluminum rods and either thread them or glue them into the model. Attach a leather strap, and you're done. Below is a link to a video showing my finished product. https://photos.app.goo.gl/G0YYrjr7Nb1LOvve2 Happy Crafting!
