Animatronic Eye Controller - Sized for General Public
prusaprinters
This controller was designed to allow guests and the general public to control an animatronic eye for an open-house event. It fully encloses an Arduino Uno and 9V battery, with a single ribbon cable connecting to the animatronic.More information on the animatronic and project can be found HERE.I do not really recommend replicating this project exactly as it was built for the specific parts that were already present at the time, but you are welcome to do so, or modify the design to fit your own needs. A Fusion 360 archive has been included. All parts print without support material. This design features a neat captive slider design I've been working on. Make sure to use smooth M3 bolts like those in Prusa kits, not the knurled ones. You will also need to swap the resistor in the arcade button LED for 68 Ohms if you plan to use it with 5V as I did.Parts Used:Arduino UnoJoystick PotentiometerGrove Slide Potentiometer33mm Square Arcade ButtonPanel Mount 10k PotentiometerPower SwitchMomentary 3 Position Toggle SwitchThis printed part was also used in this project:Knurled Knob
