Animatronic camera tripod mount (for theater)

A few months ago, my school was preparing for a theater production of "The Little Shop of Horrors" requiring a tripod that could mount a video camera and be wirelessly controlled from backstage. The idea involved having a hidden camera within the plant to select an audience member for the plant to 'devour'. Despite time constraints, I managed to complete most aspects of the device's hardware, software, and electronic components, including gears, mounts, wiring, soldering, OpenScad, and Arduino/XBee coding. However, the mechanical camera mount is still a work in progress. The XBee and Arduino code may be useful to those requiring fast, reliable wireless data communication with error checking and ACK packets using an XBee in API mode. I will post a video of the completed project soon and provide links to my source code repositories for the Arduino and OpenScad code. If you have any questions about my code or tripod, feel free to comment below and I'll be happy to assist you. -XtremD
