I designed an excavator utilizing Google image search references. The model was created in 3ds Max and textured with Substance Painter, keeping animation in mind. A bone system and animation constraints were implemented to capture the mechanical motion accurately. As evident from the export results, some issues arose with the hoses, as well as difficulties in effectively utilizing Substance Painter's export presets for 3ds Max to Sketchfab compatibility. Upon mastering SP's export settings, I plan to reupload the model with improved performance and accuracy.
