This model represents a significant advancement over its low-poly crocodile predecessor. It showcases three distinct solutions for rotating and moving the various components of the model, effectively transforming it into a "Croco Action" piece. The experience of printing this model is characterized by several key factors: Files are printable at scale or 125% without issue. However, printing below 100% may result in some parts being too small to handle effectively. The PieceJoint file must be printed at 100% infill with support structures on the individual pieces rather than just the base. Conversely, the body file benefits from a light support structure angled at approximately 70 degrees, although omitting this detail is not detrimental. A recommended wall thickness of 2mm for the outline enhances overall stability. Assembly Two STL files comprise this model: Body and PieceJoint. - The Body file aggregates various components (torso, arms, etc.), as depicted in membres.jpg. - The PieceJoint file consists of elements facilitating rotation and assembly, illustrated in pieceJoint.jpg. Arms and legs are connected to the body via small hinges (charn_Petite.jpg). These members are further secured by a small part inserted into the beveled end of the hinge. This detail allows for secure attachment within the torso while accommodating the arms and legs. Assembly Procedure 1. Attach the jaw to the head, as shown in tete.jpg. Be cautious not to overinsert the axle into the holes. 2. Assemble the hand and arm components (Bras.jpg), cutting any excess from the axles. 3. Combine the large hinges with small ones, utilizing cylinders as axes. Then, insert these combinations into the arms and legs before placing them within the torso. Finally, attach the small parts holding these members in place (this process requires attention to detail due to residual printing debris). 4. Introduce the large hinges into the head and tail, followed by insertion into the torso, as illustrated in Char-tete.jpg. Enjoy your new "Croco Action" model! Note: When components begin to wear out, simply reattach them with a secure hold from the hinges.
