Transform these windup animal walkers into cute toys by following these steps. Originally made as gifts for my little cousins, you can now choose from a variety of animals including cat, penguin, bird, bunny (added on December 18th, 2011) and lion (added on December 20th, 2011). Keep checking for more additions. To create your own windup animal walker, you'll need the walkers from http://store.makerbot.com/windup-walkers.html. Choose your preferred animal design (if it requires a stomach piece, print that too). Insert the walker at the bottom of the animal - glue if desired, though note that due to individual printer variations, your fit might differ slightly from mine. If a stomach piece was printed, attach it using glue. A word of caution: for lions, use a low infill (5-15%) as a higher infill may cause the lion to tip over while walking. Don't forget to add some googly eyes for extra fun!
