Animal Meeples [Laser Cut + 3D]

This collection showcases animal-shaped meeples designed for various board games. The idea was sparked by Fabled Fruit, where players select an animal to represent them, but with only six options available. Some fellow gamers expressed a desire for more animals, leading to the creation of these custom designs. These new meeples can be used in any game that requires them. To facilitate this, I'll be sharing 3D files and laser cutter versions in this thread. I utilized the Snapmaker 3D's laser cutter module with a 1.6W output to create the designs. The accompanying *.svg files should work seamlessly with most vector programs and laser cutting software. The meeples featured in the images are made from plywood, comprising two 4 mm thick plates glued together. I then applied a primer, followed by an acrylic stain, and finally a glossy varnish for protection. Each meeple measures approximately 30 mm on its longest side. Here are the settings used with the Snapmaker laser cutter (1.6W, 4 mm plywood plate): power - 100%, work speed - 120 mm/min, multi-pass - 5-6 turns, pass depth - 0 mm. Additional animals will be added to this collection in the future. Update: May 26th, 2019 I've expanded the selection by adding new animals and modifying the donkey design.
