Animal Key Chain Phone Stand

When relaxing at home and watching videos on my phone, I often search for a stand nearby. Afterward, I want to check social media, but find that the stand can't hold the phone vertically. For our Engineering Design Project, we made an Animal Key-Chain Phone Stand with a unique shape of an elephant that supports both vertical and horizontal positions. The keychain feature ensures portability and ease for travel. We aimed to create a flawless phone stand without any room for improvement. A challenge faced was designing the trunk, which had to look like an elephant while supporting the phone. To solve this, we researched various designs on Amazon, eBay, and tech stores, and experimented with Tinkercad tools until finding the right shape. The dimensions of our design are small, as it's a model: the elephant (excluding chain) is 6.05cm high, 7.5cm long, and 3.005cm wide; the keychain is 6.648cm long and 0.639cm wide. If made of silicone in the future, one item would cost approximately $3.50, with decreased costs for identical copies.
