The STL files provided are printable components that combine seamlessly to form a comprehensive model of an animal cell. Ideal for any biology, anatomy, or aquatic science class, these models enable educators to effectively teach students about the intricacies of cellular structures. To achieve accurate results with certain components, keep the following guidelines in mind: Vacuole: Print with the rectangular hole oriented upwards. Smooth ER: Ensure that the rectangular section is facing upwards on the build plate. RER: Similarly, print with the rectangular piece positioned upwards on the build plate. Nucleus: To successfully print this component, place a small half-sphere facing downwards on the build plate and provide additional support as needed. Mitochondria: This part requires printing with the curved line oriented upwards and the rectangular hole facing downwards on the build plate. Lysosome and Peroxisome: Print these components with the circular base facing upwards. For successful printing, ensure that a brim is applied to prevent any issues. Golgi Apparatus: To print this component accurately, position it flat with the square peg oriented upwards. Centriole: When printing cylindrical tubes for this component, ensure they face upwards and not sideways. Additionally, apply a brim to provide stabilization and prevent breakage. The Bases: For these base parts, remember to orient the side without pegs or holes facing up on the build plate, while positioning the side with no pegs or holes downwards. To assemble the model, purchase magnets to securely attach components using hot glue.
