A single-edged blade features a light forward thrust and a swift reverse motion that narrows towards its tip. Inspired by my wife's fascination, I crafted this sword, which resembles a Katana in shape, allowing for practice using a Katana-shaped bokken despite the differing usage. The weapon boasts a wooden long, two-handed grip and is surprisingly lightweight at just 1.7 lbs - similar to a machete in handling ease. Constructed from 1060 carbon steel, it undergoes laser cutting for shaping, followed by edge sanding, hardening, and heat treatment, resulting in a durable blade with exceptional springiness.
