Angular Speaker Box - 4 Inch
thingiverse
I remixed this design for the "Angular Speaker Box" created by Chris Loidolt on Thingiverse. A huge thanks goes out to him as most of the design geometry came from his original thing: 2103156, which can be found at [https://www.thingiverse.com/loidolt/about](https://www.thingiverse.com/loidolt/about). For the speakers, I used replacement speakers made by BOSS Audio: BRS40, available at [https://www.bossaudio.com/auto/car-audio-sound-system-auto-stereo-speaker-boss-audio-brs40/](https://www.bossaudio.com/auto/car-audio-sound-system-auto-stereo-speaker-boss-audio-brs40/). I rebuilt most of the original geometry using Solidworks, referencing Chris' design. Some changes were made but all in all these are still quite similar to the original Angular Speaker Boxes. I used Audio Binding Posts from Amazon to pass the audio signal to the inside of the enclosures. They fit together nicely and are very sturdy. I have also included a modified front piece file that includes a circular port, allowing for more bass to come through the speakers. This has not been printed yet, and I cannot confirm how much of an improvement it will give. However, after listening to the V1 design, it needs some form of a port to allow the bass to escape.
