Larger cookie cutters make 75mm diameter cookies that are designed for FDM printing. Smaller cutters are 50mm in diameter and slightly modified to print well on SLA machines, but can still be used with FDM printers without any issues. High Temp resin from Formlabs requires a lot of support material and is difficult to clean up after printing. For the best results, use dough that is 3/16 inch thick and chilled before rolling. Uniform thickness can be achieved by using dowels. Parchment paper should be used to prevent sticking during cutting. A recipe for a low-expansion dough is provided in the photos accompanying this text. It's essential to use flour on the cutter to avoid sticking during the cookie-cutting process. Keep in mind that these cookie cutters are not food-safe, even after making them sanitary. However, the High Temp SLA version can be made safe for food handling purposes, but still cannot be considered completely food-safe.
