Late eighth or early ninth century Anglo-Saxon cross shaft 'Halton 3b' is featured in the Corpus of Anglo-Saxon Stone Sculpture Vol. 9 by Richard Bailey, on page 186. It can be viewed online at www.ascorpus.ac.uk/catvol9.php?pageNum_urls=99&totalRows_urls=247. The cross shaft is securely embedded in the north wall inside St Wilfrid's church in Halton, Lancashire.
