Angled Wall Bracket for Regalo Baby Gate

This is an improvised mounting bracket designed specifically for use with the "Regalo Extra Tall Top Of Stairs Gate" found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VNKLIE/. The original intent of the included bracket was to attach to two parallel surfaces, however, my installation scenario did not accommodate this requirement. Consequently, I created an angled mounting bracket that allows for secure attachment despite the lack of parallel surfaces. I fabricated this customized bracket using ABS plastic for added strength and found it to be significantly more robust than the standard brackets provided. The new bracket is secured in place with a single drywall screw. Unfortunately, the screws packaged with the gate are slightly too short for effective use with this revised mounting system.
