I was motivated by other remixes of the design to create one that moved the filament PTFE connectors further apart while also incorporating smooth inserts. I discovered that by utilizing wider connector bases, I could effortlessly unscrew and reattach them to the filament feeder as needed. To achieve this, I designed an angled connector with a tapered insert, ensuring the filament wouldn't become stuck during extrusion or retraction. After successfully printing several dozen hours with this new part, I found it significantly simplified the process of accessing a jam compared to the original design.
