Angled license plate shelf

Angled license plate shelf

thingiverse

These STL files are for mounting a license plate or strong thin plate as an angled shelf on the wall. They come with a set of brackets (left, right, center) meant for mounting this type of object. The Onshape project allows you to adjust the angle of the shelf to 27 degrees and also change the thickness of the plate and other parameters. Since the length of the object I want to hold on the shelf is quite long, a variable was added later to offset the start point of the license plate outward from the wall. This leaves space for a thick power cord to hang. Two sets of STL files are attached: one set is for thinner brackets closer to the wall and another set is for thicker, extended brackets. The screenshots also show these two different versions of the shelf. However, I have only printed the thinner version so far, as I haven't had time to print the extended version yet. The Onshape project has been exported in Solidworks, Rhino, and Parasolid formats and attached here. Perhaps this will allow offline editing. Unfortunately, I don't have access to applications that can open these files, so I'm not sure what is included or not.
