Angled Dry Box Feeder

Angled Dry Box Feeder

I wanted to keep my filament from absorbing moisture while it sat on my printer. I initially use the feeder found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:578157 in the lid of the tub but it made changing spools difficult because taking off the lid pulled more filament. This mounts on the side of the tub so you can remove the lid without changing the feed path. On the other end I made this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:856967 to hold the tube securely to the print head. It's threaded for 1/8" NPT push connectors. The mounting holes fit #8 nuts and screws. Instructions I printed mine in ABS with 100% infill and 0.2mm layer height. You can probably reduce the infill significantly. Comment with your build settings if you use different values. Besides the #8 nuts and screws I used these connectors:http://amzn.com/B00A150R3O and this teflon feed tube:http://amzn.com/B00HY7QUYC
