Angled Dry Box Feeder

Angled Dry Box Feeder

I needed to prevent moisture from absorbing my filament as it sat on my printer. At first, I tried using a feeder found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:578157 inside the tub lid, but changing spools was becoming tough since removing the lid pulled more filament. This new design mounts the feeder to the tub side so you can remove the lid without changing the feed path. On the other end, I made this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:856967 to hold the tube securely in place on the print head. It has threaded connectors for 1/8" NPT push fittings. The mounting holes fit #8 nuts and screws. To make it, I printed mine with ABS and 100% infill and a 0.2mm layer height. You may be able to reduce the infill significantly. Post your build settings if you use different values.
