Upgraded Angle Extruder Version Unveiled: Eliminating Filament Friction Hurdles A keen-eyed observer, Mike1960, recently brought to light a crucial issue with the original angle extruder design - a bowed filament path that increased friction when pulling and pushing the filament through the extruder. This ingenious discovery sparked the creation of an upgraded version featuring a straightened extruder path, tailored to accommodate drive gears with approximately 7mm throats. Additionally, this revamped design allows for convenient mounting at a downward angle, making it simpler to feed the filament (refer to accompanying images). Two versions of the extruder are available: one compatible with 1.75mm filament and another optimized for use with 3.0mm filament.
