Angled Bowden Extruder

Angled Bowden Extruder

thingiverse

This is a reworked version of the compact bowden extruder by Schlotzz (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:275593). It's designed specifically for a Kossel rig with a top mounted spool, offering an improved design that avoids the problem of the bowden tube catching on the carriage pivots. I angled it out to create a more natural angle for a top feed spool. Additionally, this remix features a mount that allows users to attach a micro switch for a filament runout sensor using 2x 2mm or #2 self-threading screws. This version is optimized for 1.75mm filament; I may develop a 3mm equivalent in the future but currently lack access to test it on a Kossel 3mm setup. I've since created an updated version available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2329918 Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: Most settings should work fine.
