Angle-style fan irrigation spreader

Angle-style fan irrigation spreader

My other designs for irrigation spreaders don't perform exceptionally well when faced with less-than-perfect water conditions; in other words, a few pieces of leaf floating in them can be problematic. This design is specifically engineered to have a larger opening, making it more tolerant of the occasional piece of debris. A side effect of this design is indeed higher flow rates. The picture was taken using a purely gravity-fed flow from approximately 4 feet high, resulting in a quite nice wide pattern. I uploaded two files; one features a single sprayer, while the other showcases four at a time. Due to their small size, it's helpful to create several at once so that the previous layers have time to cool down. The design fits 1/4-inch irrigation tubing snugly, and I would recommend inserting them using pliers or perhaps sanding just a bit off of the ridge. In any case, they won't come loose under siphon-level pressures.
