Angle Layout and Assembly Tool
thingiverse
This handy tool, measuring 100mm per leg, is perfect for transferring or comparing angles up to 306 degrees (from an initial 53-degree acute angle). Ideal for woodworking, four of these tools can be printed and fixed at 90 degrees as angle squares for boxes, frames, etc. For such applications, bar clamps can secure the assembly squares around projects during dry-fitting or glue-up stages. To print, use a HBP with careful platform centering; raftless printing saves time if the HBP is level. Infill density of 0.3 in SkeinForge provides sufficient leg strength. The STL file contains a 45-degree angled leg for a 100mm x 100mm platform, and the DXF file allows resizing. Print two legs, sand the inner and outer sides, and use an M3 18mm bolt with countersunk head, knurled brass nut, star washer, and brass flat washer for secure jaws.
