Angle Iron Foot
thingiverse
I designed this to secure to the legs of a stool crafted from repurposed bed frame angle iron. The angle iron was likely to damage carpets and scratch floors, so I created this solution. Not all bed frames feature standard-sized angle iron, making it difficult to find a part that fits perfectly. One size was too large, while the next size down was too small. I built this specifically for my project's angle iron, but later tested it on various cuts of frame from different beds and found it generally fit them well. Some had a slightly loose fit, which could be easily fixed by gluing or resizing along one or both axes.
