Angle Grinder Wall Mount

Angle Grinder Wall Mount

I had witnessed some devices resembling this one that were crafted from metal and held multiple grinders. I only required one at the ready, however, and those metal ones were extremely costly. Therefore, I designed a quick and straightforward model, which so far is functioning flawlessly. This design was printed on its side to ensure all of the layers formed "U" shapes, thereby maximizing strength. As evident from the accompanying images, it seamlessly operates with both my corded and cordless DeWalt grinders and also works effectively with either a flap disc or cut-off wheel installed. Installation required only two flat head screws into the wall. The clearance holes on the front allowed for a bit to drive the screws through the bracket's front. This design was created in inches, so if you load it into your slicing software and it appears minuscule, it is because you need to multiply the scale by 25.4 to convert from millimeters to inches. I would appreciate any feedback on this design and look forward to seeing some printed versions posted by those who give it a try. This should be compatible with any 4 1/2" angle grinder. I have removed the guards from both grinders, but unfortunately could not locate them to reinstall for testing purposes. If your guard remains intact, I cannot guarantee that this bracket will function properly with it in place.
