I managed to figure out that my angle grinder was struggling with a 1mm cutting disc. It just couldn't get a good grip on something so thin. So, I came up with this solution to bridge the gap. I have no idea how widely applicable this fix is, but if it's helpful, here you go. Use it at your own discretion, naturally.
