In 3ds Max 2010, create a V-Ray version 2.40.03 scene with fbx file format excluding wool. Design an Angharad sheepskin footstool measuring 50x40x35 cm using geometry for fur. Alternatively, delete the geometry and apply the modifier to achieve the effect. Prior to rendering, access Rendering - Effects tab, click Hair and Fur, then choose mr prim mode. Use system units in mm. If rendering with geometry, first convert the model into a proxy. A more realistic result is obtained by rendering in Effects mode.
