This is a statue of an iconic character brought to life by Guillermo Del Toro, Angel of Death as seen in the film Hellboy: The Golden Army (2008). The Angel of Death represents death itself. It has no eyes on its face because its gaze is directed towards its wings. This powerful entity resides in Bethmoora and befriends the goblin who built the Golden Army. While searching for the Golden Army, BPRD agents are also intent on removing the spear shard lodged deep within Hellboy's chest. The Angel of Death warns Liz Sherman that Hellboy will bring about humanity's downfall and she will suffer even more if he lives. Liz accepts this dire prediction and the Angel magically removes the shard from Hellboy's chest. The Angel then vanishes, leaving the shard for the goblin to find. Source: Hellboy wiki page
