After completing the entire assembly, I noticed that the wing nuts for the bed contact the rib of the base brackets. To address this issue, I am working on an updated design. In the meantime, you can simply remove that rib and see if it affects stability - so far, it hasn't. Choose your preferred print settings to achieve desired strength and print time based on material. The threaded parts of the Y-axis tensioner should be printed slowly with a layer height of 0.08 inches. If you're using a Bowden setup, just print the Y motor mount twice and place it where the extruder would go. You will need all the printed parts shown in the photo, along with 168 inches of 1x1 inch aluminum square tube and two sets of 8x22x7mm ball bearings. The required aluminum frame lengths are: Z at 14-3/4 inches x four pieces; Y at 15-3/8 inches x four pieces; X at 11 inches x four pieces. You should be able to reuse the original bolts and screws, and you'll have some extras left over. These parts are designed to fit snugly, but if they start to slide, I suggest drilling a small hole through the part and frame to secure it with a small bolt and nut. Most of my existing Anet upgrades will fit onto this new frame, which is a bonus. Note that the electronics case and hotend mount are not my design - feel free to use any compatible ones you like, such as the ones I linked. This build is primarily a frame upgrade using all original Anet A8 electronics and hardware. You can choose your own extruder setup and type. Good luck with the build!
